An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Mariano in the 8th minute of play forced San Martino FC's goalkeeper Carlo Arpaia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Arpaia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Giorgio's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Florian Picozzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ennio Di Gregorio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bianco Mariano in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlo Arpaia saved San Martino FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, San Martino FC's Federico Domenghini got a free kick in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Florian Giorgio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carlo Arpaia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Florian Giorgio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Picozzi made a kick off. Florian Giorgio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlo Arpaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Mariano in the 58th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Florian Picozzi notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Longiano FC's Ennio Di Gregorio. Ennio Di Gregorio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Emanuele Di Silvio fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Martino FC's protests and gave Emanuele Di Silvio a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuele Di Silvio hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Bianco Mariano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Carlo Arpaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Arpaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Mariano in the 73rd minute of play. Longiano FC's Florian Giorgio came free and shot a quick shot against goal 77 minutes in the game, fortunately Carlo Arpaia had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Florian Giorgio took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlo Arpaia. Carlo Arpaia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Bianco Mariano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Carlo Arpaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 86 in the game by Florian Giorgio from a close distance when the talented Carlo Arpaia managed to make a qualified save. San Martino FC's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Giorgio got free with Carlo Arpaia in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the match, Florian Picozzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ennio Di Gregorio. Longiano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Picozzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Longiano FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
