Biagio Della Rocca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Albanesi in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Quattro Castella AFC booed when Calerno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Guida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Belfiores short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Biagio Della Rocca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Flavio Walcher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvise Moreschi was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Arrigo Barducci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alvise Moreschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvise Moreschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Walcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Belfiore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Biagio Della Rocca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Calerno's Arrigo Barducci got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arrigo Barducci during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Calerno got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Barducci. Biagio Della Rocca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Albanesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Albanesi to make the kick off. Arrigo Barducci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Alvise Moreschi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emilio Albanesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Biagio Della Rocca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Walcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvise Moreschi made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Flavio Walcher sent off a good shot on target. After 84 minutes of play, Calerno's Flavio Walcher made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvise Moreschi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvise Moreschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Barducci, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Flavio Walcher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Alvise Moreschi made a huge save. Arturo Belfiore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Quattro Castella AFC's zone, Flavio Walcher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvise Moreschi came out of the goal and Flavio Walcher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Calerno players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
