Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Consalvi in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Pietrantoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ernesto Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acquaviva AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Alfieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Del Bello kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, Marano AFC's Corrado Alfieri got control of the ball when Armin Di Mario tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Massaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Pietrantoni was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Carmine Antonioni's late challenge caught a Marano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acquaviva AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davide Consalvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, Acquaviva AFC's Armin Di Mario made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corrado Alfieri was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Cosimo Massaros short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Emiliano Pietrantoni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ernesto Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Davide Consalvi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Consalvi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Massaro got free with Emiliano Pietrantoni in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Marano AFC defense, Armin Di Mario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corrado Alfieri. The Marano AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corrado Alfieri should have stopped the shot. Carmine Antonioni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corrado Alfieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Davide Consalvi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Pietrantoni having to interfere. A collision led to Marano AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Davide Consalvi hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the game, Davide Consalvi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emiliano Pietrantoni. Davide Consalvi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Corrado Alfieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Di Mario in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marano AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Acquaviva AFC.
