Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabio Strano kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Alberto Masi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roma Area's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Masi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vignolo AFC's zone, Fabio Strano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferruccio Schiavo came out of the goal and Fabio Strano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferruccio Schiavo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Masi in the 7th minute of the match. If Alberto Masi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Aurelio De Paolis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Enzo Gagliano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdinando Felice hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Andreassi in the 21st minute of play forced Roma Area's goalkeeper Enzo Gagliano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferruccio Schiavo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Strano in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Amerigo Andreassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Gagliano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Roma Area's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Andreassi came free, but Enzo Gagliano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Vignolo AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ferdinando Felice hit a great ball. Alberto Masi might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferruccio Schiavo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Masi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 48th minute, Corrado Cucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Amerigo Andreassi made the kick off in the second half. Amerigo Andreassi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Gagliano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Aurelio De Paolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Enzo Gagliano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Gagliano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio De Paolis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Aurelio De Paolis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Gagliano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Andreassi in the 89th minute of the match. Aurelio De Paolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Enzo Gagliano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vignolo AFC's Ferruccio Schiavo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Madaio in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute of the match Elia Giannico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Gagliano skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vignolo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Roma Area had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
