In the 4th minute, Bernardo Porreca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortunato Tonon might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmondo Di Paola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fortunato Tonon ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Tonon in the 12th minute of play forced Burzum United's goalkeeper Edmondo Di Paola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Fortunato Tonon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Burzum United's Edmondo Di Paola. Edmondo Di Paola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Achille Gregori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Di Paola having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Burzum United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Caniglia to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Achille Gregori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cogliate AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achille Gregori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Porreca during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Biagio Ceccon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Gregori in the 26th minute of play forced Burzum United's goalkeeper Edmondo Di Paola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Cogliate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Barducci. In the 42nd minute Emanuele Barducci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Di Paola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Burzum United booed when Cogliate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Barducci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmondo Di Paola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Gregori, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fortunato Tonon made a kick off. Achille Gregori struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Edmondo Di Paola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cogliate AFC. After 58 played minutes Cogliate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Achille Pelliccioni. Edmondo Di Paola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Gregori, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Achille Gregori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Edmondo Di Paola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Scarpa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Porreca, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Cogliate AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Davide Gaspari hit a great ball. Edmondo Di Paola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achille Gregori in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes Burzum United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antonello De Donatis who took care of the corner kick. In the 84th minute, Antonello De Donatis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Scarpa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Zoccali in the 86th minute of play. Achille Gregori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Edmondo Di Paola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Tonon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cogliate AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
