When Antonello Pilla came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Rupinpiccolo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonello Pilla couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Rupinpiccolo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Sasso came free, but Adriano Abbagnale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Borrelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ercole Borrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Rupinpiccolo FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dario Marsili hit a great ball. Vittoria's Armin Sasso got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Rupinpiccolo FC's Adriano Abbagnale got control of the ball when Ercole Borrelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvise Madonna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Di Lorenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anfilogino Di Lorenzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Madonna having to interfere. Antonello Pilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvise Madonna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Antonello Pilla struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alvise Madonna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rupinpiccolo FC. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Armin Sasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adriano Abbagnale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Marsili kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ercole Borrelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rupinpiccolo FC booed when Vittoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Belfiore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonello Pilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, Rupinpiccolo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Di Lorenzo to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Di Lorenzo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvise Madonna. Alvise Madonna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Vittoria's Ercole Borrelli got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Antonello Pilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
