Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alberto Crognale kicked off to start the match. Angelo Cappucci made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Fedele Toto sent off a good shot on target. ARMENIA's Edoardo Garofoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo De Nardis in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ARMENIA's Bruno Donatelli got a free kick in the 13th minute. Edoardo Garofoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo De Nardis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Aldo De Nardis took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edoardo Garofoli. Edoardo Garofoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th minute Fabrizio Di Cristofaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Garofoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ARMENIA booed when Santa Croce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Flocco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Anelli succeeded in the game's 34th minute to get real power on a long shot . Santa Croce FC's Angelo Cappucci hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! Fabrizio Di Cristofaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Edoardo Garofoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes ARMENIA got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Tornese. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bruno Donatelli hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Edoardo Garofoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Di Cristofaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Santa Croce FC defense, Alberto Crognale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Cappucci. The Santa Croce FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Cappucci should have stopped the shot. Aldo De Nardis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edoardo Garofoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Cristofaro in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, ARMENIA's Alberto Crognale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Cappucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Fabrizio Di Cristofaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Croce FC and the ARMENIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Santa Croce FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fabrizio Di Cristofaro hit a great ball. Fedele Toto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Cappucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Crognale in the 81st minute of the match. Fabio Manzoni charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Manzoni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Santa Croce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Manzoni to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Crognale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Cappucci having to interfere. Alberto Crognale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santa Croce FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
