Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anselmo Schiacciacasse made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Ponterotto AFC's Dino Napoleone dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Anselmo Schiacciacasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Capobianco having to interfere. Concetto Vida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Flavio Capobianco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Napoleone got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Angelo Fasciani handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Amedeo Giampietro came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Nottingham Fornas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Giampietro couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Schiacciacasse might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Capobianco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Schiacciacasse ran back to his position shaking his head. Dino Napoleone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Nottingham Fornas's goalkeeper Angelo Fasciani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Comunardo Arioli. Concetto Vida charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Concetto Vida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Concetto Vida kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Nottingham Fornas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Augusto De Francesco hit a great ball. Angelo Fasciani was a little too slow when Dino Napoleone got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Anselmo Schiacciacasse took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Capobianco. Flavio Capobianco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dino Napoleone to make the kick off. Angelo Fasciani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Napoleone, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ennio Tacconelli during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nottingham Fornas booed when Ponterotto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Tacconelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Schiacciacasse kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Anselmo Schiacciacasse stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Ponterotto AFC's defenders and the ball went out. Nottingham Fornas appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. After 69 played minutes Ponterotto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Sciotto. Anselmo Schiacciacasse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nottingham Fornas's goalkeeper Angelo Fasciani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Fasciani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Napoleone, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute Comunardo Arioli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Fasciani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
