A nice corner shot did that Armin Marongiu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amedeo Buffone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amedeo Buffone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Di Giandomenico in the 9th minute of play. Diego Ruzzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Amedeo Buffone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Di Giandomenico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amedeo Buffone. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Donato Vulcano hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Alfonso Di Giandomenico took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Amedeo Buffone to make any attempt to save it. Amedeo Buffone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Di Giandomenico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Alfonso Di Giandomenico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Buffone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Calzoni AFC's zone, Donato Vulcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Castellini came out of the goal and Donato Vulcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Calzoni AFC's Carlo Coletti got a free kick in the 34th minute. Armin Marongiu's late challenge caught a Ghetto Randuzzi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armin Marongiu helped the player get up and apologised. Diego Ruzzi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Amedeo Buffone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calzoni AFC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Alfonso Di Giandomenico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Buffone having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Demetrio Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Castellini. Calzoni AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demetrio Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Donato Vulcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alex Castellini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Calzoni AFC booed when Ghetto Randuzzi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Vulcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Ruzzi scored 3-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amedeo Buffone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calzoni AFC's Diego Ruzzi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demetrio Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Castellini having to interfere. Donato Vulcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Di Giandomenico charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Di Giandomenico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Calzoni AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Di Giandomenico. After a rather tough play, Calzoni AFC's Davide La Penna got a free kick in the 86th minute. Donato Vulcano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Alex Castellini skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Amedeo Buffone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Di Giandomenico in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ghetto Randuzzi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Calzoni AFC.
