The Tignamica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Vierchowod in the 39th minute of play forced Tignamica's goalkeeper Alfonso Alberico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tignamica's Attilio Sabatini got a free kick in the 39th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Rosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Christian Vierchowod managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leini FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Vierchowod was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Alberico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ercole Cocca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Venditti having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
