The crowd rose to their feet as Gallarate FC's Arturo Nobili slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudio De Leonardis. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Elia Spano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Claudio De Leonardis made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game Biagio Tamburrini kicked a great long shot which passed Claudio De Leonardis straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-0. One couldn't see Biagio Tamburrini behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. In the 25th minute, Arturo Nobili reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio De Leonardis. The goal made the score 3-0. After a rather tough play, Gallarate FC's Anselmo Rainaldi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Armo's Antonello Bozzelli couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gallarate FC. 35 minutes into the match, Gallarate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Colombi came free, but Diego Masciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elia Spano during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elia Spano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Arturo Nobili took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Claudio De Leonardis to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 42 minutes, Enzo Domina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Domina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Colombi in the 44th minute of play forced Gallarate FC's goalkeeper Diego Masciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Adriano Colombi made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Elia Spano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallarate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Spano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Antonello Bozzelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Eugenio Trabucco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gallarate FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Adriano Colombi scored to the left of an out of position Diego Masciarelli, making the score, 4-1. Armo made a substitution. Edmondo Guidoni replaced Christian Lepori. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Cipollini during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adriano Colombi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armo made a substitution. Kosta Peev replaced Antonello Bozzelli. 74 minutes into the match, Bento Mota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Masciarelli. Gallarate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bento Mota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gallarate FC's goalkeeper Diego Masciarelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonio Cipollini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio De Leonardis having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Anselmo Rainaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Colombi in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Masciarelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 88 minutes, Elia Spano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallarate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Spano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Gallarate FC's Biagio Tamburrini broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
