But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Bani couldn't finish the play. Emanuele Maiorano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Del Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Eugenio Scrima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alvise Trombetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Amedeo Pierdomenico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 19th minute, Eugenio Scrima fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alvise Trombetta, passed just outside the right post. After 28 played minutes bustecche got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Galus. Eugenio Scrima came free in the 33rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Alvise Trombetta, but to the joy of Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio FC's supporters the ball went over. In the 34th minute, Aldo Bani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvise Trombetta. The goal made the score 1-0. Alessandro Scurti kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Wiktor Galus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alvise Trombetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Scrima to make the kick off. Wiktor Galus got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 56th match minute, bustecche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Galus to maneuver through the defense. Anthony Del Bello took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuele Maiorano. Emanuele Maiorano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alvise Trombetta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for bustecche. Angelo Fiordelisi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anthony Del Bello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
