The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adriano Di Fabrizio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Vettori, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Domenico Picozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tor Vaianica's Beppe Silvagni got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Tiberio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bianco Mercuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Silvagni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Silvagni in the 25th minute of play forced Mr Muffin f.c.'s goalkeeper Bianco Mercuri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Mr Muffin f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Cerasoli. In the 33rd minute, Cesare Corrente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Tiberio in the 36th minute of play forced Mr Muffin f.c.'s goalkeeper Bianco Mercuri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Rosati kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Beppe Silvagni came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tor Vaianica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Silvagni couldn't finish the play. If Domenico Picozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Tiberio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bianco Mercuri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beppe Silvagni to strike the kick off in the second half. Cosimo Tocchetto kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Domenico Picozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Carlo Vettori took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Adriano Di Fabrizio to make any attempt to save it. Aldo Rosati charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Rosati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mr Muffin f.c. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Aldo Rosati hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Silvagni in the 75th minute of play forced Mr Muffin f.c.'s goalkeeper Bianco Mercuri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cosimo Tocchetto fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Cosimo Tocchetto hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Tor Vaianica's goalkeeper Adriano Di Fabrizio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenico Picozzi. In the 88th match minute, Mr Muffin f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Rosati to maneuver through the defense. In the 90thth minute of the game Angelo Tiberio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mr Muffin f.c.'s Bianco Mercuri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mr Muffin f.c.'s Bianco Mercuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Busillo in the 95th minute of play.
