After 25 minutes of play, Atletico Funcetta's Federico De Paolis made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ettore Pasquarelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico De Paolis in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ettore Pasquarelli saved Baranzate FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Federico De Paolis sped through Baranzate FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ettore Pasquarelli. In the 40th minute Federico De Paolis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Pasquarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Atletico Funcetta getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Antonio Tarulli hit a great ball. Livio Bianchini made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Clóvis Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Meder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Atletico Funcetta were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ettore Pasquarelli made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Federico De Paolis sent off a good shot on target. Federico De Paolis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ettore Pasquarelli made a huge save. With his leg Ettore Pasquarelli managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Atletico Funcetta's Kostas Paraskevopoulos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Atletico Funcetta's Comunardo Dionisi got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Federico De Paolis could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Ettore Pasquarelli however easily saved by the left post. Livio Bianchini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Meder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Atletico Funcetta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Baranzate FC.
