Roncaglia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 27th minute Edmondo De Carolis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Mara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Comunardo Zollino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roncaglia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Comunardo Zollino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermanno Mara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 minutes, Cristiano Pallini mouthed his way into the referee's book. Faustino Koldo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ferdinando Toccaceli. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Comunardo Zollino in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermanno Mara saved Disperati from getting behind. After some careless play in the Disperati defense, Comunardo Zollino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermanno Mara. The Disperati fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermanno Mara should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Di Paola got free with Faustino Koldo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmondo De Carolis got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Edmondo Scarinci came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Roncaglia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Scarinci couldn't finish the play. Faustino Koldo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2.
