Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Enzo Di Virgilio made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 5 minutes, Fedele Ucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulminati's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Ucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fedele Ucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulminati's Damiano Minotti got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damiano Minotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Barbanti having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore De Cesaris got free with Fortunato Gazza in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Fortunato Gazza managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when A.C. VERROCCHIO's Ettore De Cesaris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute of the match Ciro Caneva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Barbanti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Fedele Ucci fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fulminati's protests and gave Fedele Ucci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute Damiano Minotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Barbanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ettore De Cesaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Gazza having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Frank Pensa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C. VERROCCHIO and the Fulminati players grew even worse after the yellow card. 46 minutes into the match, Fulminati's goalkeeper Fortunato Gazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Di Virgilio. Ettore De Cesaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fortunato Gazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damiano Minotti to make the kick off. Enzo Di Virgilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fortunato Gazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fulminati getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Domenico Melani hit a great ball. Fortunato Gazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Di Virgilio in the 60th minute of the match. Damiano Minotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Armando Barbanti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Di Virgilio in the 65th minute of play forced Fulminati's goalkeeper Fortunato Gazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fedele Ucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 72nd minute when Damiano Minotti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Enzo Di Virgilio came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the A.C. VERROCCHIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Di Virgilio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Fulminati getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Damiano Del Monte hit a great ball. Enzo Di Virgilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Gazza having to interfere. Fedele Ucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
