Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lardiano's Fabiano Vida started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciro Nazzaro came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Mamiano FC's Ettore Pierdomenico. But to his dismay, Ettore Pierdomenico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Emiliano Pomponio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lardiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamiano FC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Lardiano got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Pomponio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Mameli during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lardiano booed when Mamiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Mameli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Mamiano FC's Flavio Conforti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Nazzaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabiano Vida struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Antonello Rainaldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lardiano. Fabiano Vida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Antonello Rainaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonello Rainaldi made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Enrico Giandomenico sent off a good shot on target. Fedele Di Lello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Nazzaro having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Amos Simonetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lardiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Simonetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Conforti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antonello Rainaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Vida, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ettore Pierdomenico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Vida in the 73rd minute of play forced Mamiano FC's goalkeeper Antonello Rainaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ettore Pierdomenico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamiano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore Pierdomenico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Nazzaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Giusto's late challenge caught a Mamiano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessandro Giusto helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Lardiano got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Giusto. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lardiano's goalkeeper Ciro Nazzaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ettore Pierdomenico let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 79th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. When Ettore Pierdomenico came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Mamiano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Pierdomenico couldn't finish the play. The Mamiano FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mamiano FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
