After a defensive mix-up in Fosdondo FC's zone, Flavio Conforti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Puddu came out of the goal and Flavio Conforti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fosdondo FC's goalkeeper Alex Puddu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Fosdondo FC booed when Mamiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Orioli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Mamiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Di Marco came free, but Antonello Rainaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Maranzano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Mamiano FC's Ettore Pierdomenico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Puddu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Bozzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Antonello Rainaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ettore Pierdomenico struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Alex Puddu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamiano FC. Achille Di Marco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Antonello Rainaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Bozzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Rainaldi having to interfere. If Alexander Bozzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Flavio Conforti came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Mamiano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Conforti couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Fosdondo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Di Marco to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Conforti to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Mamiano FC's goalkeeper Antonello Rainaldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Bozzo. Achille Di Marco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Rainaldi having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Aldo Ottavi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mamiano FC and the Fosdondo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Achille Di Marco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Antonello Rainaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Mamiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Mameli. Antonello Rainaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Di Marco in the 73rd minute of the match. The tension between the Fosdondo FC and the Mamiano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ettore Pierdomenico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Alex Puddu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Bozzos short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Antonello Rainaldi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ettore Pierdomenico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Puddu having to interfere. Achille Di Marco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mamiano FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fosdondo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Fosdondo FC.
