The penalty shot was made by Ferruccio Russi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fogliano's Amedeo Di Federico. 0-1. The supporters of Fogliano booed when FC Sboccarda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Meazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Bravo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 51st minute, Emilio Di Giambattista sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Sboccarda's Cesare Pellicciotta didn't even have to move. After the first half FC Sboccarda were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After having played for 55 minutes, Davide Domenghini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fogliano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Domenghini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesare Ascani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Di Federico having to interfere. FC Sboccarda's Cesare Ascani got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fogliano's Amedeo Di Federico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Meazza in the 70th minute of play. FC Sboccarda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ferruccio Russi in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on FC Sboccarda's corner Ferruccio Russi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amedeo Di Federico quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Fogliano getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Emilio Di Giambattista hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Ferruccio Russi sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Amedeo Di Federico threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ferruccio Russi this time. Cesare Ascani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesare Pellicciotta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Di Palma in the 89th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Di Palma in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesare Pellicciotta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florian Pennetta's late challenge caught a Fogliano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Pennetta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fogliano booed when FC Sboccarda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Pennetta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC Sboccarda were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Fogliano side.
