If Carter Melis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carter Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Buonanno having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Pessione's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Melis came free, but Davide Buonanno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davide Buonanno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Melis in the 34th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of MARCHELE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pessione:s goal. When Carter Melis came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the MARCHELE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carter Melis couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Pessione's Ernesto Mameli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano Pellecchia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in MARCHELE's zone, Ernesto Mameli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Pellecchia came out of the goal and Ernesto Mameli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Zuccarini during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pessione getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fabio Zuccarini hit a great ball. Davide Buonanno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Melis in the 60th minute of the match. Carter Melis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Davide Buonanno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
