Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Acquasanta's Augusto Visintin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diego Cavaliere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Ottavi, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Matera Station's Angelo Ottavi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diego Cavaliere. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. After 14 played minutes Acquasanta got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Visintin. Angelo Ottavi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Augusto Visintin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Rossini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonello Crosta got free with Diego Cavaliere in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Ottavi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Diego Cavaliere when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Antonello Crosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Ottavi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acquasanta's Diego Cavaliere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Acquasanta from getting a goal against them. Antonello Crosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Diego Cavaliere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Rossini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Rullo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Cavaliere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Ottavi's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Ottavi in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Cavaliere saved Acquasanta from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 55th minute Attilio Giuliani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Cavaliere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Rullos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Fabrizio Rossini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Diego Cavaliere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Ottavi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Diego Cavaliere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Ottavi's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Angelo Ottavi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Cavaliere was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Matera Station's Fabrizio Rossini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Matera Station from getting a goal against them. Antonello Crosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Cavaliere having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Matera Station's Emanuele Guarrera made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Cavaliere was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Matera Station's Angelo Ottavi in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Acquasanta's goalie prevented a goal. Elia Di Federico's late challenge caught a Matera Station's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elia Di Federico helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Acquasanta's Elia Di Federico got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Angelo Ottavi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Cavaliere was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Attilio Giuliani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Diego Cavaliere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Rullo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Fabrizio Rossini made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Matera Station had played much better football throughout.
