Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fortunato Sergi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Fortunato Sergi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dream Team's zone, Antonello Crosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Ferrini came out of the goal and Antonello Crosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Matera Station's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Sergi came free, but Fabrizio Rossini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonello Crosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Ferrini having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Angelo Ottavi made a precise shot to the right of Franco Ferrini. Dream Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Franco Ferrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Ottavi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Angelo Ottavi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Bernardo Manzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Pellicciotta's late challenge caught a Dream Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Pellicciotta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dream Team booed when Matera Station was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Pellicciotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Angelo Ottavi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Ferrini was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Antonello Crosta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Ferrini. Dream Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonello Crosta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 45 minutes of play, Matera Station's Attilio Giuliani made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Ferrini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Ottavi was the one to do the kick off. If Antonello Crosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Matera Station's Angelo Ottavi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Angelo Ottavi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Franco Ferrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Giuliani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Manzi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dream Team's goalkeeper Franco Ferrini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Ottavi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Ferrini having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Adriano Palma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Ottavi in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Ferrini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Attilio Giuliani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Pellicciotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Franco Ferrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Angelo Ottavi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Franco Ferrini, 0-6. Franco Ferrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Ottavi let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 91st minute shot 0-7 at rihgt post. Franco Ferrini was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Attilio Giuliani. Angelo Ottavi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
