Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Visintin started the match with the kick off. Acquasanta's Diego Cavaliere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Oriali in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acquasanta's goalkeeper Diego Cavaliere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 9 minutes, Emilio Rullo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acquasanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Rullo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Augusto Visintin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Zaccardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zebra Boys getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cristoforo Alfonsi hit a great ball. Cristoforo Alfonsi's late challenge caught a Acquasanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristoforo Alfonsi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Cristoforo Alfonsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Daniele De Sanctis from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Comunardo Zaccardi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Comunardo Zaccardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Visintin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Visintin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Emilio Rullo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Zaccardi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zebra Boys's Edmondo Oriali got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Augusto Visintin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acquasanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Visintin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Comunardo Zaccardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Zebra Boys's Edmondo Oriali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Cavaliere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Augusto Visintin struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Comunardo Zaccardi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acquasanta. In the 42nd match minute, Acquasanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Di Federico to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Zebra Boys were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmondo Oriali made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Acquasanta's zone, Alberigo Falasca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Cavaliere came out of the goal and Alberigo Falasca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Rullo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Visintin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Acquasanta's zone, Edmondo Oriali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Cavaliere came out of the goal and Edmondo Oriali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberigo Falasca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Diego Cavaliere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Oriali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Cavaliere having to interfere. Acquasanta's Diego Cavaliere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Falasca in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Acquasanta getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Eugenio Bisegna hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberigo Falasca got free with Diego Cavaliere in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute of the match Antonio Cassone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Cavaliere showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Edmondo Oriali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Cavaliere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Bisegna charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Bisegna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eugenio Bisegna hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match.
