An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Lelli in the 11th minute of play forced Belvedere AFC's goalkeeper Alberto Petrosino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Alessandro De Amicis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belvedere AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Garaona Gibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristoforo Circelli hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alfredo Onori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Lizzi in the 23rd minute of play. Ennio Lelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Petrosino having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Dennis Valeri threw the ball into play from the sideline. gio!!!'s Cristoforo Circelli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Belvedere AFC's Alberto Petrosino got control of the ball when Cristoforo Circelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Onori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Corsi in the 35th minute of play. Federico Corsi might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Onori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Corsi ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Belvedere AFC's zone, Ennio Lelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Petrosino came out of the goal and Ennio Lelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belvedere AFC's Alberto Petrosino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Lelli in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alessandro De Amicis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 55 played minutes gio!!! got a freekick which was hit by Donato Sergi. In the 56th minute Alessandro De Amicis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Onori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Arturo Pietrini made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Onori. gio!!!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Alfredo Onori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro De Amicis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elia Di Crescenzo's late challenge caught a Belvedere AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elia Di Crescenzo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to gio!!! getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Elia Di Crescenzo hit a great ball. Fedele Barone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Petrosino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Ennio Lelli scored 1-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Petrosino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute Ennio Lelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Petrosino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Onori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Corsi in the 92nd minute of the match.
