Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fausto Morandin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enrico Mazzetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Daniele Contestabile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Enrico Mazzetti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniele Contestabile was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A nice corner shot did that Ennio Biavati got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniele Contestabile quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alessandro Di Campli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Enrico Mazzetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th play minute Alessio Melone came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edoardo Colucci. 1-1. With a little luck, Juventus's Edoardo Colucci got control of the ball when Alessio Melone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Morandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cusano Milanino FC booed when Juventus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Prisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edoardo Colucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Morandin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Concetto Prisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fausto Morandin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus's zone, Alessio Melone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edoardo Colucci came out of the goal and Alessio Melone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 played minutes Juventus got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Coco.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Di Campli in the 54th minute of play forced Cusano Milanino FC's goalkeeper Daniele Contestabile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Alessandro Di Campli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniele Contestabile, 1-2. A collision led to Cusano Milanino FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bernardo Di Mascio hit a great ball. Juventus's Enrico Mazzetti got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniele Contestabile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessandro Di Campli's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 74th match minute, Cusano Milanino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Zaino to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Enrico Mazzetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Mazzetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniele Contestabile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Juventus's Concetto Prisco got a free kick in the 78th minute. Daniele Contestabile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrico Mazzetti in the 80th minute. The supporters of Juventus booed when Cusano Milanino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Zaino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ennio Biavati from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Daniele Contestabile's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Carmine Farina's late challenge caught a Juventus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmine Farina helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Juventus booed when Cusano Milanino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Farina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes Cusano Milanino FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Navarra. Ernesto Navarra charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Navarra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Ernesto Navarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniele Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Di Campli in the 93rd minute of play. The Juventus supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Juventus would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
