In the 15th minute, Ciccio Maio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Treglia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Augusto Treglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Palleschi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferruccio Palleschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Negrini in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Martorano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Treglia came free, but Ferruccio Palleschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Augusto Treglia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La cantera del Poggetto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Treglia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Pellicciotta kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ercole Piacentini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edoardo Negrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Palleschi having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Augusto Treglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Palleschi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edoardo Negrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Palleschi having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Troilo to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Adriano Troilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Cauli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniele Pierucci during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Martorano FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Pierucci. Augusto Treglia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Martorano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Furia to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Concetto Lepori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martorano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Lepori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adriano Troilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edoardo Negrini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Ferruccio Palleschi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 95th minute, La cantera del Poggetto's Augusto Treglia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferruccio Palleschi. Ferruccio Palleschi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1.
