Ettore Albertini's late challenge caught a Ritortolo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Albertini helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Badia Polesine's Concetto De Donatis got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to AC Badia Polesine getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Manole Gherasim hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Emanuele Santangelo hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. AC Badia Polesine's Igor Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Burelli in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, AC Badia Polesine's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Ritacco came free, but Igor Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Peres made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Cristoforo Tomei sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Moniz struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Amedeo Milanese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Badia Polesine. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Spagnuolo was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Alfonso Spagnuolo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Amedeo Milanese. If Fernando Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Róbert Sámuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Badia Polesine's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbert Sámuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amedeo Milanese breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Emiliano Valerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ritortolo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Badia Polesine the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Ritortolo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Valerio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AC Badia Polesine's Alfonso Spagnuolo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Amedeo Milanese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Spagnuolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Róbert Sámuel came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the AC Badia Polesine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Sámuel couldn't finish the play. AC Badia Polesine's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
