Corrado Visintin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fausto Marongiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Di Marcos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Corrado Visintin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as STEAU BUCAREST's Dino Como slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Corrado Visintin. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Aldo Giardino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Feltrin in the 30th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Bianco De Filippo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When A.C. Bunga Bunga's Bianco De Filippo in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
