Valtopina's Camillo Abete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Iacovone in the 25th minute of play. Camillo Abete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Iacovone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Tarulli might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camillo Abete. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Prandini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valtopina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Flavio De Angelis was slow to take the kick. During this time SALI FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to SALI FC's Alessandro Rossetti getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After taking down the ball on SALI FC's corner Flavio De Angelis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Camillo Abete quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Tarulli got free with Camillo Abete in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Demetrio Iacovone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over SALI FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valtopina throughout the match.
