Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SALI FC's goalkeeper Frank Grossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th match minute, Santo Briccio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Massimini to maneuver through the defense. When Antonio Tarulli came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the SALI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Tarulli couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Cristoforo Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Briccio's Elia Coco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Santo Briccio from getting a goal against them. SALI FC's Antonio Tarulli got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Tarulli got free with Elia Coco in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demetrio Iacovone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elia Coco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Iacovone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corrado Oberrauch to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SALI FC's Cristoforo Valente got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alfonso Salerno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santo Briccio's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Salerno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Grossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Demetrio Iacovone hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Antonio Tarulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Elia Coco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Demetrio Iacovone sped through Santo Briccio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elia Coco. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Di Francesco during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of SALI FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Santo Briccio:s goal. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Santo Briccio. Fabio Sansoni stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frank Grossi. 2-1. Demetrio Iacovone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfonso Salerno's late challenge caught a SALI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Salerno helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Santo Briccio getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alfonso Salerno hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Antonio Tarulli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Coco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Antonio Tarulli managed to get in a good position for a shot. SALI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Tarulli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Coco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elia Coco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Tarulli in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Tarulli in the 92nd minute of play forced Santo Briccio's goalkeeper Elia Coco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Demetrio Iacovone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Tarulli struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Elia Coco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SALI FC.
