Dario Flocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Panella in the 9th minute of the match. Cesare Di Sante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dario Flocco. Vizzano AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Achille Panella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ercole Bravo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Bearzot's late challenge caught a Rosaguta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Bearzot helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vizzano AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! 33 minutes into the match, Rosaguta AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Centofanti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Cancemi. In the 35th minute, Claudio Cala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Vizzano AFC's Emanuele Caccia tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fortunato Mangione received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fausto Centofanti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Vizzano AFC defense, Achille Panella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Flocco. The Vizzano AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Flocco should have stopped the shot.

When Claudio Cancemi fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vizzano AFC's protests and gave Claudio Cancemi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Vizzano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Cancemi to maneuver through the defense. Dario Flocco made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ercole Bravo sent off a good shot on target. When Rosaguta AFC's Achille Panella in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vizzano AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute, Armando Rava made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Centofanti. Rosaguta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Armando Rava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercole Bravo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Dario Flocco made a huge save. After 64 played minutes Vizzano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Cancemi. 65 minutes into the match, Vizzano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Panella came free, but Dario Flocco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vizzano AFC's Dario Flocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Panella in the 69th minute of play. Ercole Bravo scored 1-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Flocco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Armando Rava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Mangione sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Vizzano AFC's goalkeeper Dario Flocco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Achille Panella. The supporters of Rosaguta AFC booed when Vizzano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Cammarota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Panella hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ercole Bravo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Dario Flocco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Rosaguta AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
