With a little luck, Cavallasca's Ettore Tartaglia got control of the ball when Fabrizio Margoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. The tension between the Cittadella and the Cavallasca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Cavallasca a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Minko Avrionov in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Molinario saved Cittadella from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Minko Avrionov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Molinario was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Cavallasca were the better team. Cavallasca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
