An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Mameli in the 3rd minute of play forced Monte Moro's goalkeeper Filippo Trombetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monte Moro's Filippo Trombetta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Monte Moro from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the game, Fedele Di Pietro lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Filippo Trombetta. Achille Toschi charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achille Toschi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Comunardo Mameli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filippo Trombetta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achille Toschi in the 20th minute. Alberigo Iacovacci's late challenge caught a Solarolo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Iacovacci helped the player get up and apologised. Filippo Trombetta made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Fedele Di Pietro sent off a good shot on target. Fedele Di Pietro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Filippo Trombetta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Christian Carosella kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Comunardo Mameli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Tartaglia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Bulla in the 37th minute of the match. Anfilogino Bulla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solarolo FC's goalkeeper Achille Tartaglia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fedele Di Pietro struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Filippo Trombetta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solarolo FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Comunardo Mameli made a kick off. Filippo Trombetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Mameli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Carosella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fedele Di Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Monte Moro getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Filippo Delle Donne hit a great ball. Christian Carosella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Achille Tartaglia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Carosella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filippo Trombetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Di Pietro in the 89th minute of the match. Filippo Trombetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Di Pietro in the 95th minute of play. Solarolo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
