Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tonengo F.C.'s Ciccio Rosato started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Fedele Di Pietro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cesare Caretti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tonengo F.C.'s Aldo Fino got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesare Caretti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Mameli, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ciccio Rosato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Achille Tartaglia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achille Tartaglia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Fino in the 27th minute. If Comunardo Mameli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes of play, Solarolo FC's Armin Cavaliere made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesare Caretti was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Tonengo F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Daniele Pich hit a great ball. The Tonengo F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Solarolo FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Comunardo Mameli to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Aldo Fino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Achille Tartaglia was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Cesare Caretti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cesare Caretti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Mameli in the 68th minute of the match. Fedele Di Pietro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Caretti having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Comunardo Mameli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cesare Caretti. That made the score 0-4 in the 75 minute of play. Solarolo FC's Achille Tartaglia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Fino in the 83rd minute of play. Fedele Di Pietro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Caretti having to interfere. During the 85th minute of the match Daniele Pich completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Daniele Pich a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Solarolo FC booed when Tonengo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Pich didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Mameli in the 87th minute of play forced Tonengo F.C.'s goalkeeper Cesare Caretti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Solarolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Achille Toschi. Fedele Di Pietro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cesare Caretti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Solarolo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
