Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vespolate FC's Dino Costantino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. San Barnaba FC's Alessio Rulli got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabiano Brunetta kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Alvaro Flamini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elia Oroni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Costantino, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dino Costantino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Elia Oroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alvaro Flamini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Loiacono during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudio Loiacono hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Fabiano Brunetta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Alessio Rulli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Barnaba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Rulli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Eugenio Pasquale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attilio Bordon in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ettore Addari, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Augusto Tarantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessio Rulli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Costantino in the 58th minute of play forced San Barnaba FC's goalkeeper Elia Oroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Attilio Bordon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Barnaba FC's goalkeeper Elia Oroni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Fortunato Del Greco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vespolate FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Barnaba FC the free kick. Fortunato Del Greco kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. San Barnaba FC's Elia Oroni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save San Barnaba FC from getting a goal against them. Elia Oroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Costantino in the 81st minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, San Barnaba FC's Attilio Bordon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ettore Addari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Claudio Loiacono got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Claudio Loiacono hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Aurelio Bolli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elia Oroni. San Barnaba FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vespolate FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Barnaba FC.
