Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvise Tundo started the match with the kick off. Amerigo Facchini made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Edoardo Alfieri sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in San Varano's zone, Edoardo Alfieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amerigo Facchini came out of the goal and Edoardo Alfieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. San Varano's Amerigo Facchini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Tundo in the 7th minute of play. Edoardo Alfieri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Amerigo Facchini skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 9th match minute, Fontane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Parente to maneuver through the defense. Alessio Gianfrancesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ferruccio Rotondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edoardo Alfieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Amerigo Facchini made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, San Varano's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Tundo came free, but Amerigo Facchini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Alvise Tundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Tundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fontane's goalkeeper Ferruccio Rotondi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Fontane's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Proietti came free, but Ferruccio Rotondi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Florian Eleuteri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fontane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Varano the free kick. Florian Eleuteri kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. San Varano's Amerigo Facchini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save San Varano from getting a goal against them. Alvise Tundo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Amerigo Facchini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fontane. After 36 minutes, Daniele Palladino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Varano and the Fontane players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes San Varano got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Palladino. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Varano's goalkeeper Amerigo Facchini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edoardo Alfieri succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 38th playminute. In the 47th minute Alvise Tundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Facchini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessio Gianfrancesco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Fontane got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Stumpo. Alessio Gianfrancesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ferruccio Rotondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fontane's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Alessio Gianfrancesco scored to the left of an out of position Ferruccio Rotondi, making the score, 1-1. If Alvise Tundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the match, San Varano's Alessio Gianfrancesco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferruccio Rotondi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvise Tundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Facchini having to interfere. Alvise Tundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Amerigo Facchini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fontane booed when San Varano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Proietti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Fontane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Capuozzi to maneuver through the defense. When Alvise Tundo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Fontane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvise Tundo couldn't finish the play. If Edoardo Alfieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
