Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Armin Malatesta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferruccio Rotondi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Edoardo Alfieri in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carter Faccio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 11 played minutes, Fontane's Florian Eleuteri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carter Faccio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fontane reached it. In the 13th minute, Edoardo Alfieri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carter Faccio came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Fontane's Edoardo Alfieri. But to his dismay, Edoardo Alfieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Carter Faccio made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Edoardo Alfieri sent off a good shot on target. After 35 played minutes Fontane got a freekick which was hit by Dino Parente. Fontane's Ferruccio Rotondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Fata in the 36th minute of play. Dino Parente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Emilio Garofalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Carpi F.C.1909's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Tundo came free, but Carter Faccio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Armin Malatesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Achille Fata in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferruccio Rotondi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Achille Fata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Rotondi having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Alvise Tundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpi F.C.1909's Carter Faccio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Edoardo Alfieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Alfieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Tundo in the 84th minute of play forced Carpi F.C.1909's goalkeeper Carter Faccio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferruccio Rotondi made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Armin Malatesta sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the game, Armin Malatesta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ferruccio Rotondi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carpi F.C.1909 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
