After 5 played minutes, Mirazzano's Edoardo Di Maria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexander Falone came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mirazzano reached it. Alexander Falone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Miccio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Donato De Cesaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Ottavi having to interfere. Cosimo Piccini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Ottavi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo Piccini in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Ottavi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Mirazzano's goal looked a bit too open when Donato De Cesaris came free, but Alex Ottavi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Fanano AFC's goalkeeper Alexander Falone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Gambini. In the 35th minute Donato De Cesaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Ottavi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cosimo Piccini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosimo Piccini struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alex Ottavi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fanano AFC. After a rather tough play, Mirazzano's Daniele Casadei got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Donato De Cesaris made the kick off in the second half. When Diego Manzoli fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirazzano's protests and gave Diego Manzoli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Mirazzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Manzoli to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mirazzano's goalkeeper Alex Ottavi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Cosimo Piccini fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 70th minute of the match, Cosimo Piccini got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Ottavi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Mirazzano fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Mirazzano's Elia Miccio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniele Casadei was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Alexander Falone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Gambini in the 85th minute of the match. Cosimo Piccini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Alex Ottavi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Cosimo Piccini notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mirazzano's Alex Ottavi. Alex Ottavi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dario Gambini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alexander Falone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fanano AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
