Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciro Pettinelli took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fortunato Santucci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Pettinelli went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carlo Polmone came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Coste FC's Arturo Limitone. But to his dismay, Arturo Limitone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Franco Ubriaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Carlo Polmone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Polmone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Ubriaco's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Arturo Limitone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Coste FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Diego Egger hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ciro Pettinelli notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Coste FC's Fortunato Santucci. Fortunato Santucci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Case's zone, Franco Ubriaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Polmone came out of the goal and Franco Ubriaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fortunato Santucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Oddi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Coste FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Battisti to maneuver through the defense. Case's Ciro Pettinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Carlo Polmone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Case's Filippo Selvaggi got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half Case were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Ubriaco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlo Polmone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Egger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Limitone struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Carlo Polmone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coste FC. If Franco Ubriaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Case's zone, Arturo Limitone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Polmone came out of the goal and Arturo Limitone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amos Pocobello hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Fortunato Santucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Pettinelli in the 78th minute of play. In the 86th minute Franco Ubriaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Polmone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Polmone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Ubriaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Coste FC's Arturo Limitone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlo Polmone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Arturo Limitone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Ubriaco in the 93rd minute of play forced Case's goalkeeper Carlo Polmone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Coste FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Egger to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Case's Aldo Rinaldi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Case eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
