With a little luck, Zerman's Eugenio Di Michele got control of the ball when Fulvio Giorda tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Daniele Zulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Piuma AFC's Daniele Zulli in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zerman's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 played minutes Zerman got a freekick which was hit by Diego De Palma. Piuma AFC's Daniele Zulli got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Piuma AFC's Daniele Zulli in the 18th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eugenio Di Michele was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Zerman through an amazing save. During the 18th minute of the match Diego De Palma completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Diego De Palma a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eugenio Di Michele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Zulli in the 20th minute of the match. Eugenio Di Michele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulvio Giorda in the 21st minute. Fulvio Giordas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Eugenio Di Michele to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Daniele Zulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulvio Giorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Zerman got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Facchetti. After a rather tough play, Zerman's Carlo Franceschini got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Fulvio Giorda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Daniele Zulli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulvio Giorda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Eugenio Di Michele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Piuma AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amedeo Ucci in the 55th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Claudio Marziali got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 55 minutes into the match. Eugenio Di Michele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Zulli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Daniele Zulli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Di Michele was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Fulvio Giorda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Di Michele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Daniele Zulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Di Michele having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Zerman got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Facchetti. Fulvio Giorda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Di Michele having to interfere. If Daniele Zulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Zerman defense, Daniele Zulli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Di Michele. The Zerman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Di Michele should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Di Marino in the 86th minute of play forced Zerman's goalkeeper Eugenio Di Michele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Zerman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Facchetti to maneuver through the defense. Zerman's Eugenio Di Michele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Zulli in the 94th minute of play. Bruno Di Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Eugenio Di Michele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piuma AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
