In the 10th minute, Daniele Muciaccia made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Di Nardo. Olgiate Olona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Alfredo Cocca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olgiate Olona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 17 minutes, Anfilogino Castellazzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Longobarda FC and the Olgiate Olona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Longobarda FC's Anfilogino Castellazzi got a free kick in the 17th minute. Camillo De Zorzi, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dave Ricciuti came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Olgiate Olona's Alfredo Cocca. But to his dismay, Alfredo Cocca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Camillo De Zorzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Ricciuti having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Elia Ronconi made a precise shot to the right of Dave Ricciuti. Longobarda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With a little luck, Olgiate Olona's Alfredo Di Nardo got control of the ball when Daniele Muciaccia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Daniele Muciaccia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfredo Di Nardo. The goal made the score 2-3. After 34 minutes, Daniele Muciaccia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Longobarda FC and the Olgiate Olona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Longobarda FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Muciaccia. Dave Ricciuti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Pace in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Carlo Gigli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olgiate Olona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Longobarda FC the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Carmine Pace left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olgiate Olona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Giorgio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dave Ricciuti made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Elia Ronconi sent off a good shot on target. When Alfredo Cocca came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Olgiate Olona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Cocca couldn't finish the play. Carlo Fallito hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Camillo De Zorzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olgiate Olona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camillo De Zorzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Alfredo Cocca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olgiate Olona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 67 minutes into the match, Longobarda FC's goalkeeper Dave Ricciuti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmine Pace. After having played for 73 minutes, Carlo Gigli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olgiate Olona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Gigli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Olgiate Olona's Dave Ricciuti threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carmine Pace, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Alfredo Cocca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olgiate Olona's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Cocca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Ricciuti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Di Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Giorgio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Olgiate Olona's Alfredo Di Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Loreto in the 84th minute of play. Alfredo Cocca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dave Ricciuti made a huge save. After 90 minutes of play, Longobarda FC's Daniele Muciaccia made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Di Nardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Longobarda FC's zone, Carmine Pace stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Ricciuti came out of the goal and Carmine Pace tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olgiate Olona played a much better game than Longobarda FC and deserved their victory. The Longobarda FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
