Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Napoleone started the match with the kick off. Cagliari's Concetto Garibaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Napoleone in the 3rd minute of play. In the 12th minute, Fabiano Cannone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bovezzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Concetto Garibaldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabiano Cannone's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Bovezzo's Ermanno Fabrizi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Bovezzo from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Frank Napoleone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bovezzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Federico Monti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ermanno Fabrizi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Federico Monti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Monti was the one to do the kick off. Fabiano Cannone's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Concetto Garibaldi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 67 minutes into the match, Cagliari's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Napoleone came free, but Concetto Garibaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Armin Di Febo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
