With a little luck, San Sisto's Angelo Caccavale got control of the ball when Claudio Placidi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Claudio Placidi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cameriano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Placidi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Caccavale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francesco Maio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Angelo Caccavale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Placidi got free with Angelo Caccavale in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Claudio Placidi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, San Sisto's Augusto Maldini got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Meazza in the 44th minute of play forced Cameriano AFC's goalkeeper Francesco Antognoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Francesco Maio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Francesco Maio made the kick off in the second half. Cosimo Chitarroni hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camillo Meazza in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Antognoni saved Cameriano AFC from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, San Sisto's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Maio came free, but Angelo Caccavale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Camillo Meazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in San Sisto's zone, Aurelio Minicucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Caccavale came out of the goal and Aurelio Minicucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cameriano AFC booed when San Sisto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Marchetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Andrea Scandella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Camillo Meazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea Scandella got free with Francesco Antognoni in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrea Scandella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Claudio Placidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Caccavale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Placidi in the 82nd minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
