Biagio Pierdomenico was a little too slow when Alexander Simone got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-1. Alexander Simone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Pierdomenico having to interfere. Biagio Pierdomenico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Simone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessio Gaudino charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessio Gaudino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Alessio Gaudino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, FC Team Cavia della Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Simone came free, but Biagio Pierdomenico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Alexander Simone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kickers Addidonis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Simone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Corsi made a kick off. Cosimo Romanese hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Aurelio Giampieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Pierdomenico having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Kickers Addidonis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Simone to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Team Cavia della Crew defense, Alexander Simone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Biagio Pierdomenico. The FC Team Cavia della Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Biagio Pierdomenico should have stopped the shot. After 69 minutes, Concetto Di Nino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Team Cavia della Crew and the Kickers Addidonis players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Team Cavia della Crew getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Concetto Di Nino hit a great ball. When Edoardo Nelli came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC Team Cavia della Crew fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Nelli couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Lauria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Corsi in the 79th minute of the match. Ettore Nobili charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ettore Nobili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes, FC Team Cavia della Crew's Fortunato Lucchetti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Lauria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Team Cavia della Crew reached it. Aurelio Giampieri might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biagio Pierdomenico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Giampieri ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th match minute, FC Team Cavia della Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Iannucci to maneuver through the defense. Kickers Addidonis's Aurelio Giampieri got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Simone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Biagio Pierdomenico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kickers Addidonis's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
