Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fiumana FC's Alvise Di Vincenzo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvise Di Vincenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Della Rocca kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Dario Vasco made a precise shot to the right of Beppe De Leonardis. Bruciate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Bruciate booed when Fiumana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Del Papa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiumana FC's Enrico Masci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Persia in the 14th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Bruciate's Enrico Masci threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ermanno Persia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fiumana FC's Enrico Masci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Persia in the 23rd minute of play. When Dario Vasco came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Fiumana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Vasco couldn't finish the play. Felice Patricelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fiumana FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ermanno Persia 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Enzo Bani hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Fiumana FC's Enrico Masci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Fiumana FC from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermanno Persia made a kick off. A collision led to Bruciate getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cosimo Corrente hit a great ball. When Felice Patricelli fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruciate's protests and gave Felice Patricelli a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bruciate's Felice Patricelli got a free kick in the 54th minute. Felice Patricelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Enrico Masci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Masci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Patricelli in the 61st minute of play. If Felice Patricelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Vasco came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beppe De Leonardis could save by the left post. Enrico Masci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Persia in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Fiumana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Persia came free, but Enrico Masci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Dario Frezza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fiumana FC and the Bruciate players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Fiumana FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bruciate:s goal. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Bruciate. Alfredo Saraceni stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enrico Masci. 2-1. In the 87th minute of the match Fulvio De Francesco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrico Masci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dario Vasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Beppe De Leonardis made a huge save. Enrico Masci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Patricelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute Ermanno Persia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Masci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felice Patricelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Masci having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bruciate fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fiumana FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
