Ferruccio Tosi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anselmo Censi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Anselmo Censi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conventello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Censi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferruccio Tosi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Censi in the 27th minute of play. Anselmo Censi might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferruccio Tosi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Censi ran back to his position shaking his head. Croara AFC's Fedele Mariano collided with an opponent after 37 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his leg. 38 minutes into the game, Alberto Aureli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conventello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Croara AFC the free kick. The supporters of Croara AFC booed when Conventello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Aureli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuele Mastrangelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
