Cristiano Nobili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cristiano Nobili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Moschetta in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Aguscello's Camillo Crognale got control of the ball when Federico Vinciguerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fabiano Iacobucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Nobili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Moschetta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Moschetta in the 41st minute of play forced A.M GreenPeace 1971's goalkeeper Cristiano Nobili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Marsilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cristiano Nobili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Aguscello were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Felicetti to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, A.M GreenPeace 1971's Diego Felicetti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camillo Crognale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camillo Crognale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Palmucci in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, A.M GreenPeace 1971's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Moschetta came free, but Cristiano Nobili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
