Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ciccio Nero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alvaro De Filippo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ciccio Ceccarelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, one of Morello:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Morello. Ciccio Ceccarelli went to the wrong direction when Aurelio Daniele was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Franco Di Vito's late challenge caught a Zinola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franco Di Vito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Morello's Franco Di Vito got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Edoardo Evangelista came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Morello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Evangelista couldn't finish the play. Frank Sciarra charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Sciarra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Morello booed when Zinola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sciarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ciccio Nero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Zinola got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Guerrieri. After a defensive mix-up in Zinola's zone, Edoardo Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberigo Vaiani came out of the goal and Edoardo Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 27th minute of the match Frank Sciarra completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Frank Sciarra a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Zinola getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Frank Sciarra hit a great ball. Edoardo Evangelista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberigo Vaiani having to make a save. Alberigo Vaiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Evangelista in the 31st minute of play. Alberigo Vaiani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciccio Nero's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Edoardo Evangelista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Vaiani having to interfere. When Morello's Ciccio Nero in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zinola's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro De Filippo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Edoardo Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morello's supporters rose to their feet, but Edoardo Evangelista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberigo Vaiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberigo Vaiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Nero in the 57th minute of the match. Alberigo Vaiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Nero in the 63rd minute of play. Ciccio Nero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zinola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morello the free kick. Zinola's Alberigo Vaiani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Zinola from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Alberigo Vaiani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 78 minutes into the match, Morello's Ciccio Nero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberigo Vaiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciccio Nero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberigo Vaiani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Zinola's Bruno Raniolo got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Bruno Raniolo off the ground. Bruno Raniolo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Morello's Edoardo Evangelista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberigo Vaiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Morello's Franco Di Vito suffered a sore knee after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 86 minutes, Ernesto Di Matteo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zinola and the Morello players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zinola's Ernesto Di Matteo got a free kick in the 86th minute. The supporters of Zinola booed when Morello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Giusti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th play minute Edoardo Evangelista came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alberigo Vaiani. 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
