Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto Reggianini started the match with the kick off. If Fabiano Migliorati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferdinando Antonini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Alvaro Caccia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montemurlo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cannuzzo the free kick. After 9 played minutes Montemurlo got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Caccia. Cristiano Salvagnin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Cannuzzo's Angelo Ciapponi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aldo Raiola hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Alvaro Caccia got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Montemurlo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alvaro Caccia hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cannuzzo's Angelo Ciapponi tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Flavio Gori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Frank Silveri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Cannuzzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Faieta to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Gori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Flavio Gori made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Montemurlo's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Reggianini came free, but Damiano Niccolai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabiano Migliorati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Migliorati struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Damiano Niccolai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cannuzzo. Angelo Lorenzi charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Lorenzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Montemurlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Lorenzi to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Gori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Silveri having to interfere. Fausto Reggianini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Frank Silveri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Gori, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Montemurlo's Damiano Niccolai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Montemurlo from getting a goal against them. Flavio Gori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Silveri having to interfere. Cristiano Salvagnin charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
