Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Lorenzi made the kick off and thus started the match. Angelo Lorenzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Maranzano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Lorenzi in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Maranzano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Maranzano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Lorenzi in the 11th minute of play. Flavio Gori scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Maranzano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24thth minute of the game Flavio Gori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cermes FC's Armando Maranzano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Anthony Taraborrelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Niccolai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alfredo Albanesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fortunato Giammarino during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cermes FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Fortunato Giammarino hit a great ball. When Cermes FC's Anthony Taraborrelli in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montemurlo's goalie prevented a goal. When Alfredo Albanesi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cermes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Albanesi couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthony Taraborrelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Gori in the 53rd minute of play forced Cermes FC's goalkeeper Armando Maranzano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Ettore Cipollone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cermes FC and the Montemurlo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Cermes FC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Cipollone. Flavio Gori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Anthony Taraborrelli got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Anthony Taraborrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ettore Cipollone kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Lorenzi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Maranzano saved Cermes FC from getting behind. Flavio Gori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cermes FC booed when Montemurlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Caccia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Montemurlo's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Taraborrelli came free, but Damiano Niccolai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Gori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Armando Maranzano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Flavio Gori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montemurlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Gori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Montemurlo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cermes FC for a fine match.
